WELCOME VANITY

Yesterday, I spent over 1.5 hours on getting a french manicure-pedicure. I have to confess it felt nice sipping on fresh lime soda on a sat afternoon with good music and a masseuse making my hands and feet look better but hello! 1.5 hours is way too much time. We women actually make so much effort to look the way we do and still want it to surface naturally as if we were just born with flawless skin and no concealer/base has given us our new found beauty.. :P

Well nothing wrong with using all these products but the point is that are these signs/mediums of covering up our insecurity or under-confidence? Will we be as confident and talkative if we were at Aer in our home clothes? I don't have the answer but I definitely have an observation.

No matter what we adorn, whether its Stella McCartney or its a Bandra buy, we must be comfortable and happy about being in our own skin. The feeling of being beautiful should not depend on material commodities. No matter what you wear you are attractive and gorgeous. So ladies, indulge if you're tasteful but not for the wrong reasons because your man will still find you the prettiest when you're bare ;)
