Glamorous Green!

Hoping that my words come true when I say,'It's the onset of winters! Besides it is also the beginning of auspicious mahurats for weddings along with the fervor that comes with it and the time for all fashion followers to showcase their observations of the fashion weeks that passed by. Changing weather and occasions bring with them an influence on our clothing, styles and moods. Read on to know what my imagination entails for the upcoming months! My preference is partial towards the color GREEN! this time.

It is colors of tangibles after all that communicate their real essence. Splurge yourself in green this quarter encompassing, through jewelry, possesing emeralds is the most classic buy for every girl's pandora. Through accessories, mainly cocktail rings, cuffs, head gears, sunglasses as it adds a character to all that it paints itself on. Through watches, most recent collections of Rolex and Piaget validate its existence. Shoes, look dapper as green goes well with denims, is floral friendly and an easy blend with most fabrics and textures. Clothing as we know can extend to all that one adorns. From sheer dresses, lace pants, sequined blouses look super sensual in green. A mention of green eye shadows and green kohl can certainly not be missed. It brings allure and undoubted confidence. Fashion is not constrained to just dreesing oneself up. It extends to the creativity one displays through their homes, cars, cooking and basically everything that one undertakes. Sprinkle in some greens in your bedrooms and living lounges as well to add a glint of serenity and appeal. Easy access to doing this is through home accessories. This palette comprising of shades of emeralds, olives peacocks and the like is a true replacement for the cliched blacks, grays and navy that usually dominate this time of the year. Thinking of it, green is a color of great significance.

It endorses nature and health - as veggies of this color usually are super high on nutrition. Drinks of this color (read green teas, may be absinthe) are quite efficient in what they promise to deliver! The color is also slanged as a synonym to money and the color of Victory! So it's really not hard to convince you about how this color can prove to be a boon for fashionistas as well. Love/Hate/Love/Hate/Doesn't matter!

Whts upp world!! I am having an awesome time but as usual my ever wandering mind has observed this thought of having a ironic , love hate relationship with all spheres of life..Most of the events, experiences facts, situations and well all things related to our life have an inherited love hate factor attached to it. to give you an instance, the monsoons, while the traffic, the muddy-cucky soils are cringing the lines on our face, the marine drive promenade, the view from our open balconies, the clouds, the windows all make it worth it. Similar situations occur in our lives too.. While we have a great paying job we might not a have great working conditions, while we have the best brands of bottles stacked up in our bar, we might not have enough people or rather the preferred ones to share it with.. So thats how it is right.. we always love something and hate something belonging to the same situation. Love and hate are two sides of the same coin. Decide which side your're betting on..

In my opinion, whatever is the result of the toss, I say win the match!!

When unexpected events come to life, adrenaline flows! Excitement among citizens of both ONE-TIME warring nations, India and Pakistan has multiplied by many folds courtesy the semi-finals of WC 2011!

Since Thursday, March 24, 2011, Mohali ticket prices have defeated onion and crude oil price discussions; well Mohali itself has gained fame and existence in the eyes of many ignorants.

Everyones phones are flooded with messages against Pakistan! Numerology is spelt to work in India’s favour and suddenly everything around has become anti - GREEN!!

Loving every bit of it but a statement of Shahid Afridi in MID-DAY yesterday, made me ponder. He expressed to the Pakistan media that Indian media is being extremely cruel and mean to us. We are feeling such a negative vibe around. He was referring to a show that was telecasted on one of the news channels called Afridi and his 11 chors.

Considering the animosity between the two nations, mainly due to Pakistan’s obsessive nature towards Kashmir and the alleged fact that nearly 100 % of the terrorists belong that region and are reportedly trained their. But such groups compose of a very niche population.

I am not endorsing Pakistan or rooting for them but making a point that we should repsect the fact that the players are not terrorists; they are not the ones snatching Kashmir or causing any trouble.

A certain dignity in rooting for India is something that a glorious nation that gained its Independance through Satya graha should retain! Falling to the extent of swearing against Pakistan’s mothers, sisters and the whole of its fate is too shallow!

Let try to avoid making cricket a medium to express our displeasure towards terrorism and unsocialist activities that hound the world! There are more effective ways of doing that. But only one big obstacle averts many, Bravery!

WHAT IS CONSTANT ?

Change! A word that means edit, modify, mend or be different. Everyone is affected by this epidemic. Most times, tangibles and intangibles around us change and some times we within ourselves change or well are compelled to change. uhh.. too much repetition right? But cant help it it actually occurs more often in reality.

What occurred to me the other day was the fact that certain changes always give us an option of accepting or rejecting them. For instance, people, like say friends were different when you'll got pally and then change over a period of time. At that point the onus is on you whether to change with them or remain where you belong, depending on which your future intimacy with them is defined. I wish changes like real estate and gold prices gave us an option to reject them in a democracy but well may be most of us accept it so its not changing!

Technological change is a boon. Invention of airplanes, operating systems, cell phones, robots, e-payments has simplified life for most of us or shall I say people who are willing to change with it and like it. People from old school are still finding their feet in this environment.

Good and Bad is subjective but may be suitable and not suitable is not. Could we control situations that we want to change and the ones we don't ? May be Lata Mangeshkar or Egyptian citizens would know? All said and done all for all of us to think alike is a dream as real as a fairy tale. We all fall privy to uncontrollable changes because of that but we still have the option to hold our own may through rebellion or may through losing the changed person or object. That is still a change from the current situation. Thus, the title.
